The NCRS is pleased to offer a number of
activities during your week in the Saint Charles area, including an organized
event for nearly every night. Wednesday evening has been left open for
you and your friends to enjoy Saint Charles. Please place your order for
any priced activities on the Convention Registration Form.
Welcome Reception
Date/Time: Sunday Evening 6:00 to 7:30 PM
Cost: FREE with registration
After a long day of travel and getting settled, meet your old friends
and make some new friends at our Welcome Reception in the host hotel.
Hors d’ouvres and beverages will be served at the opening gathering
that we all look forward to. A simultaneous Youth Welcome Reception will
be offered for our younger participants, ages 7-15 (see Youth Activities
page for details). Dinner is on your own after the reception.
NCRS Annual Membership Meeting
Date/Time: Monday Evening 7:30 to 10:00 PM
No Cost
Please plan to join us at the annual Membership Meeting, held in the host
hotel Ballroom. The meeting will feature brief business reports from selected
individuals, but the majority of the meeting will be devoted to recognizing
all Chapters, Chapter Flight Awards, Sportsman Awards, Master Judges and
higher, and certain other awards. This is a pleasant and important meeting;
please plan to attend. Dinner is on your own before
the Membership Meeting. A simultaneous Youth activity will again be offered
for our younger participants (see Youth Activities page for details).
Dinner Dance
with Rock -n- Roll by Sh-Boom
Date/Time: Tuesday Evening 6 PM to 11 PM
Cost: Adults: $50.00 Children: $20.00
Join us on Tuesday evening for a trip down memory lane for dinner and
dancing with live entertainment by Sh-Boom (www.sh-boom.com).
Sh-Boom is an eight-piece Rock n’ Roll nostalgia band performing
the greatest hits of the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. Their
highly-entertaining and energetic delivery of the greatest rock music
ever written has kept this group on top for the past two decades. In fact,
they will celebrate their 25th Anniversary in 2008! Your ticket price
includes the complete meal, entertainment, and all gratuities related
to the foregoing. The cost of liquor and other adult beverages is not
included.
Awards Banquet
Date/Time: Thursday Evening Cocktails at 6:30 PM, Dinner at 7:00 PM

Well, this is it…the end of a great week, and the banquet where
our car owners get the awards for all of their hard work. Dinner selections
include beef or chicken. All adult meals are four-course meals. The kids’
meal is chicken fingers and fries. After dinner, sit back and applaud
as you and your fellow NCRS members receive their ribbons and plaques.
