San Diego 2012 National Convention

The 2012 NCRS National Convention will highlight the 1962 Corvette which will be 50 years old. The 1962 Corvette Engine displacement increased to 327ci and there were a number of changes in the cove area. The most noticeable changes were the removal of the side cover chrome trim, therefore it was not possible to offer the coves in a contrasting color. It also had a blacked-out grille and ribbed chrome rocker panel molding. The simulated vent with three small spears featured in 1961 was replaced by a separate trim item. The total production was 14531 units at witch time the President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, proclaimed this day as "America's Sports Car Day" in honor of the 1962 Corvette

This year's convention will feature NCRS Flight Judging®, Performance Verification®, Duntov Marque of Excellence® Judging, McLellan Marque of Excellence® Judging, Chevrolet Star/Bowtie Judging, American Heritage®, and special displays.

Your convention hosts have also planned a number of informative presentations/tech sessions on a variety of topics including Corvette documentation, vintage Corvette racing, Corvette restoration etc. Click on Schedule for tech session details.
