By Bob Kroupa, NCRS member, longtime publisher of the Vette-n-Vestments newsletter and author of many pricing articles. This newly updated edition covers ALL Corvette model years (1953 through 2014) with high, low and average prices for every Corvette. Its divided into four sides: 1953-1978 Pricing Guide; 1979-1996 Pricing Guide; 1997-2012 Pricing Guide; and an Optional Equipment Pricing Guide covering 1954-2014.
Simply locate the correct side - point the arrow to the correct model year and body style (Coupe, Roadster, Pace Car, Anniversary Edition, etc.) and read the original base price, number manufactured, high price, low price, average price, AND the percentage change in price over one year, two year, and five year periods.
After noting that information, turn to the 1954-2013 Option Guide side and add the value of any special options like a hardtop, air conditioning, or side exhaust. Bob also adds his commentary on the additional value added to a Corvette with NCRS or Bloomington Gold Certification, original documentation, complete owner history, frame-off restoration, etc. It's a well-researched, easy-to-use guide that belongs in your library whether you are a buyer or just want to make sure that your cars are properly insured.
