Thomas Patrick West, 70, of Fort Wayne, Ind., succumbed to cancer surrounded by his family and friends on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018.
Tom graduated from Petoskey (Michigan) High School in 1966. Tom loved Corvettes, boating and his cats. He was an active member of the Fort Wayne Corvette Club, National Council of Corvette Clubs and the National Corvette Museum. Tom was a buyer for Pro Team Corvettes purchasing thousands of Corvettes. When not attending auctions, he drove for General Petroleum.
Tom is survived by his life partner, Joyce Lothamer; son, Tom West II; daughter-in-law, Barbi West; granddaughter, Kayla West, and grandson, Tommy West III.
No funeral service will be held, but rather a Celebration of Life Open House is from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Sowles Bay Yacht Club, Angola, Ind. with a tribute to Tom at 2 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
