Cecilia Nelson 1943-2013
Cece passed away April 5 of leukemia, with the love of her life by her side.
She grew up in West Seattle, attending Holy Rosary, and married John Paul Nelson III in 1965.
Cece was very active in NCRS from very early on, member #692, accompanying John Paul. Their first event was the 1976 West Coast Regional in Berkeley, CA in 1976.
She served as National Secretary for 11 years, was a Master Tabulator, and was Co-Chair of the 1988 Regional and 1989 National both in Bend, OR.
Cece was also a proud member of Corvette Marque Club of Seattle, holding office as Vice-President and Treasurer, and of Northwest Association of Corvette Clubs.
John Paul would not be where and who he is without her, and she will be greatly missed by the Corvette family.
Cece is survived by her husband John Paul, two daughters, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
