Sam authored a vast number of well researched and informative technical articles for the NCRS Restorer.
NCRS SAM FOLZ MEMORIAL AWARD was created in his honor. The NCRS Sam Folz Memorial award plaque will be presented only at National Conventions to the owner of a car driven the greatest distance to attend and successfully judged a Top Flight car, including mileage points. Should similar mileage results occur, multiple awards may be presented. The owner or a family member must drive or travel in the car to the Convention to achieve this award.
