Bobby H.Stallings
July 25,1942 – January 15, 2014
Bobby Stallings was an avid car enthusiast and corvette collector. Bobby bought his first corvette in the late sixties, a 62 Roman Red (known to some as Lil Red). By the eighties Shirley wanted to know could she have a corvette; it was a 67 small block silver pearl coupe, many more corvettes would follow....Bobby and Shirley started on national road tours in 1989 going to Bend Oregon. Each year they looked forward to traveling with their new found families for more than a dozen years. The common denominator was the corvette, the most important ingredients
was the people. Those that met Bobby found him genuine and a man of great integrity and loyalty. Once you met Bobby this became obvious. Bobby had one way to accomplish a task; the right way. I believe working on I.C.B.M.'s at the Cape in Florida while in the Air Force played a roll in his thoroughness. (you can't launch a rocket with a loose screw). Bob's Texaco and Shirley's Diner is the prime example of his attention to detail...Our long time friend and NCRS member Bobby Stallings lost his battle with ALS January 15, 2014.
Missed doesn't begin to express his loss.
