GERALD 'JERRY' STEVEN GOLDSMITH, 73 
G & S Fine Jewelers 

LAKELAND - Gerald 'Jerry' Steven Goldsmith, 73, passed away at home on Sunday, March 1, 2015. 
Gerald was born October 3, 1941, in Montclair, New Jersey. He was the son of Irving and Belle Goldsmith. At a young age, his family moved to Lakeland. He graduated from Lakeland High School in 1959. After high school, he was in the United States Navy. 
Gerald's entire career was spent in the jewelry industry. He managed jewelry stores in Nebraska and South Florida. He was a national sales representative for a diamond company out of New York. 
In 1978, Gerald married the love of his life, Shirley. Together they founded G & S Fine Jewelers located on Cleveland Heights Blvd. and remained in that location until his retirement in 2013. 
Gerald and Shirley enjoyed all of their times together at work, home, and their travels to many Corvette Car shows. He was a lifetime member of the National Corvette Museum. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving and Belle Goldsmith and brother, Lloyd Goldsmith.
