Biography
Howard Loomis, known to many as "Pug" died on November 4, 2022. Born and raised on a chicken farm in Boulder, in area now known as Folsom. Graduated from Boulder High School in 1956, went on to join the US Navy and served on the USS Salmon from 1958-1962. Howard was a lifetime member of the Boulder Elks club. Joined the Boulder Timing Association in 1953, where he would spend hours tinkering around with cars and hanging out with his best buddies. He was also a member of the NCRS for more than 40 years, serving as a Master Judge at many Corvette car shows across the USA and a former Regional Director. Car's were Howard's passion, from Corvettes to Hot Rods. He was known to be at most car shows near and far.
