Biography John Pitrolo

John B was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Fairmont Catholic Grade School, as well as a 1978 graduate of Fairmont Senior High School, Fairmont State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. John B was part owner with his brother Jim of James Chevrolet in Mannington, where he also served as the parts and service manager. He had previously worked as an engineer with the Eaton Corporation, and later finished his working career with Swanson Industries as an inside salesman.

John B was a member of the Knights of Columbus #942 of Fairmont, as well as the National Corvette Restorers Society. John B loved Corvettes and collecting Chevrolet memorabilia and antiques.

In addition to his wife, John B is survived by his daughter, Heather, and her husband Kevin King of Fairmont; his grandchildren: Shelby Brooke King and her fiancé Keegun McCullough, and Jordan Patrick King, all of Fairmont; as well as his brother, James L. “Jim,” and his wife Karen Pitrolo, Jr of Hull, MA; his sisters, Janice and her husband Dan Cota of Indianapolis, IN, and Joyce Pitrolo Keefover of Fairmont. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Paul Brooks of Ft. Collins, CO; his sister-in-law, Lora and her husband Drew Prosko of Farmington; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins; and his special golden retriever, Zuko.
