Manufacturing Details: The Borg Warner main case was cast 2/20, tail housing cast 2/28, side cover cast 2/13, and assembled on 4/4/58. The side cover is the (rare) first generation cast aluminum, without support gussets and shows a common stress crack repair (noticeable from the inside only).
