Interesting facts:  My wife and I purchased the car new from a dealer in Redwing Minnesota. We found the car on the Internet in 2009. The small Chevrolet dealer in Redwing had ordered the car and set it on their show room for one and a half years and then decided to sell it. When we purchased the car one of my bucket list items was to buy a new Corvette and drive it through all 48 states. I completed that and checked it off my bucket list in September 2019 when my wife and I went on an 8,000 mile 22 state tour out west. The car has been driven on the Indianapolis Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway, Bonneville Salt Flats and Daytona Beach. It has been through many national parks from the Acadia National Park in Maine all the way to the giant redwoods in California.  It was driven on Route 66 and been to Florida about 12 times. It has been from coast to coast and has 200,000 miles on it. We drive it all year long and it gives new meaning to the old saying “see the USA in your Chevrolet!”  So as you can see I’ve been very busy for many years with these Corvettes.  But what’s most important to me is that they are just “Things”! They are fun and I enjoy them but I know what is more important than these cars.  The cars carry a stencil/graphic on the back with the following scripture that says “ SET YOUR MIND ON THINGS ABOVE AND NOT THINGS OF THIS EARTH”  Colossians 3:2.
