4 NCRS Road Tours are planned for Palm Springs. All road tours will travel to the “Last Night Out” event in Indiana Wells, CA. The road tours are an unforgettable way to see the USA in your Corvette with your Corvette Friends!

The 2021 National Road Tours are now set. The road tour leaders are busy planning each leg and promise to make it a memorable ride to Palm Springs. Tenative plans, places of interest and stops are described below. Make sure you register early and pick the tour you want to travel with. As usual, a great last night out celebration is planned in Indian Wells, CA. Some of the thoughts and highlights of each tour appear below. The application for the road tour appears on p 94 of the January-February Driveline. Detailed information for routes and lodging will be provided to each member after you have registered for the Road Tour.

Deadline to Register for Road Tour is May 15th, 2021 All cars must be registered, licensed and insured to be driven on public highways.

Register online with your convention registration, or you can use the paper form if you wish to register by mail. Remember there is an additional fee for mail in registrations.

Central Pennsylvania Road Tour: Led by Gary and Andrea Dukeman

The Central Pa road tour is sold out unless we have any cancellations. This is due to having to make National Park Reservations and paying for them back in July. we have 9 cars committed.

Leave New Holland, Pa. on July 5 traveling to Dayton, OH.
July 6 will take us to Davenport, IA.
July 7 will take us to Field of Dreams in Dyersville, IA then on to Sioux City, IA.
July 8 will take us to the Minuteman Misssile Visitors center in Philip, SD then on to Wall SD.
July 9 will take us to Devis Tower National Monument then on the Sheridan, WY. July 10, 11 will take us to Little Big Horn Battlefield then on the Yellowstone National Park where we spend two nights in Canyon Lodge within Yellowstone.
July 12 takes us to Jackson Hole, WY then on to Afton, WY.
July 13 takes us to Salt Lake City Tabernacle then on to Provo, UT.
July 14 takes us to Moab, UT, to see Arches National Park.
July 15 takes to Springdale, UT, to see Zion National Park. July 16 takes us to Kingman AZ and route 66.
July 17 takes us to LNO.

Return trip to Pa. takes in Sedona, AZ, Grand Canyon National Park, Monument Valley, finishing with Scenic drive of Rt 50 back to Colorado Springs then home.

Northwest Road Tour: Led by Mike Doty

We will start in Yakima WA, Wednesday, July14 and head to with Twin Falls Idaho Best Western as the hotel for the night.
On Thursday Twin Falls to Vegas area depending on who joins us(group decision)
Thursday will see us leaving Vegas and heading to Kingman, AZ, (Hoover Dam) meeting up with Central PA tour.
Saturday July 17, Kingman AZ, route 66, to our Last Night Out.

Southern California Tour Jerry ∓ Pat Louer

The Southern California Road Tour will leave July 16 at 10AM from Ontario California and head east into Nevada. We will arrive in Laughlin for that night’s stay where you can visit an auto museum or gamble a bit.
The next morning we will drive south through the desert then pick up I-40 west finally arriving at the Last Night Out.
Our tour will travel the 500 miles to qualify for any awards needing that requirement.

Texas Road Tour-1274 miles: Led by John Howell:

To avoid some of the summer heat we will drive through the central mountains of New Mexico and Arizona.
We start Tuesday morning, 7/13/21 from Big Spring, TX driving through the plains of Texas into the mountains of New Mexico and spend the night in Cloudcroft, NM.
On Wednesday, 7/14/21, we leave Cloudcroft heading down into the Rio Grand valley and then up to Silver City, NM. We leave Silver City
Thursday morning, 7/15/21 and drive into the white mountains of Arizona to spend the night in Show Low.
From there we head west on Friday, 7/16/21, to Prescott, AZ.
On Saturday morning, 7/17/21 we leave Prescott driving to our last night out event in Indian Wells, CA.
Several stops of interest are planned during the tour

Registration forms received in the Canyon Lake office after June 1 will not be processed and will be returned to the sender. Register online through the Convention Registration page. You can also use the paper form and postal mail.

All NCRS Road Tours will travel to the “Last Night Out” event. Details to be provided as they are finalized.

You must be an NCRS member to register and participate in these Road Tours. Proof of liability insurance must be sent with your registration showing insurance in effect during the tour dates. All cars must be properly registered, licensed and insured to operate on public highways. Hotel and general route information will be sent upon registration. You will receive Road Tour Hotel information in response to your Road Tour registration and payment. You will receive the detailed route information when you join your Road Tour.
